DDL OMNI Engineering is seeking a Technical Writer/Information Specialist with previous experience preparing Department of Defense software development documentation.
This is a full time position.
Technical Writer/Information Specialist job duties include:
developing, writing, and editing material for reports, presentations, and technical and administrative publications to support the development of Navy submarine software programs.
Applicant will be expected to organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards.
Tasks may include editing, standardizing, or making changes to material prepared by others.
All jobs at DDL Omni Engineering Client's Talent Network Qualified candidates must have the ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
Education Required:
High school education with a minimum of five years experience in technical writing and information preparation.
Bachelor's Degree in technical disciplines such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science strongly preferred.
Experience and Skills Required:
Experience developing software programs using programming languages such as Ada, C/C++, Java and Fortran.
Web development and/or scripting experience will be considered.
Previous experience with preparing DoD (preferably Navy) software requirements and test documentation for shipboard systems such as weapons, combat and ship control systems.
Experience with Navy Shipboard environment strongly preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
