# Job Description
The Customer Service Call Center Technical Specialist supports application, IT hardware and software products for First Data's merchant clients. This role diagnoses and resolves problems using documented procedures and checklists, handles problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution steps. The technical issues this role will support may at times require follow-up but the majority should be resolvable without escalation.
This role requires a high school education or equivalent and one to three years' experience in a technical customer service environment. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and must be comfortable communicating technical information and functions. Knowledge of Java, PHP, Webservice, .Net, ASP and C++ strongly desired. Payment modules and shopping cart configuration is a plus.
# Candidate Requirements
High school education, or equivalent
One to three years prior experience in a technical customer service environment
Strong technical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable communicating technical information and functions
Good organizational and time management skills
Good attention to detail
Enthusiastic desire to learn
Cooperative participant - must be able to join the "team" atmosphere already prevalent in the department
Download and training experience on various networks/terminals desired
Knowledge of MSA, POS2000, and CMS desired
Knowledge of Java, PHP, Webservice, .Net, ASP and C++ strongly desired. Payment modules and shopping cart configuration is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
