5K a year Performs secretarial and general office work to relieve the department as directed of clerical details and to assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of departmental projects to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
Typing, data entry, report generation, maintainence of computer files, abstraction of information from various data sources, interacts with other departments, physicians, and outside healthcare agencies.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education - Graduation from high school with commercial/business courses or the equivalent required.
Graduation from secretarial school preferred.
Experience - Previous general office experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with the following software programs or equivalent required:
Windows, Word, Excel, Access.
Licensure/Certification - For Meritus Home Health only:
Must provide own transportation.
Current, valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a vehicle required.
Vehicle maintenance is the employee's responsibility.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Competency in typing, filing, and proofreading required.
Organizational skills required in order to accomplish work.
Time management skills required.
Ability to prioritize daily work to meet deadlines required.
Ability to learn to communicate using Internet and medical center computer system.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
