We are currently hiring drivers to drive company cargo vans out ofHagerstown, MDand deliver heavy/bulky parcels for a large internet retailer.
This is a HIGH ENERGY and PHYSICAL delivery position averaging 50-70 deliveries per route each day within planned time.
Shifts start at 6:
30am and run until finished (generally 10 hours).
Requires flexible availability each week- we only hire drivers with open availability to work any day including Saturday or Sunday (you will not be scheduled both weekend days, but must be available to work one of the weekend days).
Drivers are normally scheduled to work 3-5 days each week.
OUR DRIVERS RECEIVE GUARANTEED RAISES EVERY 6 MONTHS! What does a Delivery Driver Associate do? Drives a delivery van to drop off packages to customers within local communities Commonly works 3-5 days a week Typical working days average 10 hours Follows strict safety standards on and off the road Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process What are the basic requirements? Must be at least21 years of ageand have avalid standard drivers license Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van Must be able to move oversized bulky parcels up to 75 lbs.
