We are currently hiring drivers to drive company cargo vans out of Hagerstown, MD and deliver heavy/bulky parcels for a large internet retailer.
This is a HIGH ENERGY and PHYSICAL delivery position averaging 75-100 deliveries per route each day within planned time.
Shifts run until finished (generally 10-12 hours daily).
We are a 6 day a week operation (Monday through Saturday).
Requires flexible availability each week- we only hire drivers with open availability to work any day including Saturday weekly!! Drivers are normally scheduled to work 3-5 days each week.
OUR DRIVERS RECEIVE GUARANTEED RAISES EVERY 6 MONTHS! What does a Delivery Driver Associate do? Drives a delivery van to drop off packages to customers within local communities Commonly works 3-5 days a week Typical working days average 10 hours Follows strict safety standards on and off the road Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process What are the basic requirements? Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid standard drivers license Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van Must be able to move and carry oversized bulky parcels up to and over 75 lbs.
