Summary:
Kitchen Assistant executes company objectives by producing edible batches, completing inventory counts, processing product, real time weight reporting, supply inventory management, and following compliance that adheres to the regulations established by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.
Essential Functions:
Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
Perform general maintenance of equipment, tools, and workspace.
Work at a fast pace in a high production environment.
Operate technical machinery.
Perform setup and cleanup tasks.
Preparing Kitchen equipment and tools.
Maintaining strict inventory records of all product and equipment used in the Kitchen.
Washing and sterilizing kitchen equipment.
Performing clerical work related to Kitchen activities such as record keeping.
Following cGMP Policy.
Experience Requirements:
Reliable; dependable Focused and results driven High attention to detail Ability to work within groups and solo Flexibility to pivot on tasks as directed Previous cannabis industry experience, a plus Education and Professional Requirements:
Highschool or Equivalent Must be 21 or older Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check annually Physical Requirements and Working conditions:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
Ability to perform the following physical tasks:
sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
