Role Description Jamison is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Hagerstown, MD.
This is a full-time, on-site role.
The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting customers and internal employees with any product issues they may have.
While these issues will mostly be electrical in nature, there will also be a responsibility for mechanical operating issues, product warranty claims, and inspection of parts upon return.
This role is also responsible for assisting the engineering department with electrical design solutions and the development of new products.
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or its equivalent with three (3) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Detail oriented with a drive to learn and adapt.
Standout Qualifications Associate's degree in the field or a related area.
Five (5) or more years of experience.
Experience at a call center or hands on equipment repair work.
Experience in troubleshooting equipment.
Experience with ladder logic and wiring diagrams.
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
